This week I went to visit Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. As someone who did not grow up near this area in Pennsylvania, it truly is such a gift to live close and ignite the holiday spirit every year. I worked at Longwood in Horticulture for almost 3 years with aquatic plants among others and truly harnessed my love for the plant world. Working behind the scenes on all of the ‘seasons’ as they call them, I saw how much dedication and skill went into every aspect of the installations. As a photographer and plant enthusiast it’s still so exciting to come back and see how things have changed, find new perspectives, and be inspired by the delicate fusion of humans and nature.
